Rockstone Sessions already visited this festival last year and knows Paaspop has simply everything: 12 different stages, camping areas, transportation back and forth to the nearest train station, over 50.000 visitors and more than 175 acts from hiphop and house to pop and metal. Last year we filmed acoustic sessions with Emil Landman, Valour Up Twice, The Black Marble Selection and John Coffey. This year, we have so much more coming up! But while we keep that a mystery for now, examples of the artists that will perform at the festival include The Prodigy, Baroness, Chef’ Special and HAEVN.
You could choose a subscription for all three days or just simply go one day when your favourite artist is performing, it’s up to you!

Again for something else, but for those who are really into the Caribbean and Latino rhythms, there is this up-coming festival at the end of March with a really interesting and muy caliente line up. It’s called Pal Mundo and includes a few of your secret holiday favourites – because come on, anybody that has ever travelled to a Spanish speaking country gets a vacation vibe going with these tunes. Think Prince Royce, Farruko, Gente de Zona, Don Omar and more. The venue will be divided into three main areas and around 15.000 visitors are expected each day.
So come together to experience artists with great repertoires, dance, have delicious dishes from all kind of cuisines, and meet new people with the same passion for Latino music.
The tickets are already on sale, so just go for it!

In the past years, the event has become one of the leading underground festival for psychedelic, avant-garde, doom and many other genre variations that push the boundaries of music. It is a small and intimate festival that thrives to create a unique experience and strengthen social vibes.
Russell Haswell, Diamanda Galas, Converge and many other alternative artists are going to perform, so if you are a fan or just looking for a different type of festival, the video bellow contains a short recap of one of the previous editions.

It is already known that King’s day is one of the most famous and entertaining celebration of the year for the Dutchies and also for the internationals who are around during that date, especially since absolutely everyone is in the festive mood. You have music festivals everywhere, such as Oranje Bitter in Rotterdam, Life I Live in The Hague, Kinghouse Festival in Utrecht and Loveland in Amsterdam.
As far as the Loveland festival is concerned, we heard that last year was quite epic and they promised this year would be even better. Funny thing is, the tickets are not yet on sale and none of the artists are announced, but you can pre-register and be one of the first one to get the news when they will announce it.
Curious about this mysterious festival? Check out last year’s after movie until more information is revealed!

Another day of celebration for The Netherlands is the so called ‘Day of Freedom’. This day is dedicated to the liberation by the Allied forces during World War 2 , but simultaneously, they honour values important to their nation: freedom, equality, human rights and democracy. And what a better way to celebrate it in a majestic way? This festival was inspired by the Indian Holi rituals and the meaning of it is inspiring and intense: ‘You paint and cover each other with coloured powder and, with that, making all the differences between poor and rich, young, old, religion, gender, skin colour and race disappear. On this day, all are equal.’
So grab your friends, get your tickets and your white T-shirts and let’s celebrate!
