Growing up, Marle (pronounced as Mar-le, French style) was constantly singing and experimenting with music. Always working on finding the best sound it’s no wonder that Marle Thomson, being the musician she is today, enchants you with her beautiful voice and cheeky songs that make you feel like you can take on every day like it’s a sunny one. When listening, you hear a little bit of jazz, a little bit of soul and flurries of r&b. At the moment Marle Thomson is working on her new EP which she will release later this year. But to already give you a sneak peek of what to look forward to; Rockstone Sessions presents you the sweet and lovely song ‘More’, recorded in the back of the very suitable tea- and lunchroom Lapsang, at Den Haag, together with her guitarist Gijs Batelaan and keyplayer Jasper Slijderink.
