Cliche questions, yawn appropriated interviews and uninterested journalist is what most music journalist have in common. We live in an age of overwhelming information of music coming our way. Great things were achieved by this but this also made way for very monotonous interviews.
Until one Canadian (of course he’s Canadian) set an example to all those trendy new journalist trying to make it in the music era. His name is Nardwuar, an eccentric fellow, with an amazing and one of a kind interview style who is often dressed like he came out of 60’s golf club vintage shop.
Nardwuar unfortunately suffered from a stroke last week during during a Mint party. Luckily, the gods themselves realised we need more of these type of lads in our lives and he has now been released from the hospital awaiting surgery next year. We wish him all the best vibes in the world and a well recovery on the way.
For now, we want to honor him by showing our favorite list of artists (this was more difficult to do than choosing christmas present for the parents-in-laws). If you never have experience any Nardwuar interview you’re in for a treat! it seems hard to watch as it is all very real and very awkward but trust me, this guy knows his shit. Like I said before, there’s so many interview with great artists that you should get to his YouTube channel and start doing a Sunday binge day.
