Where the Wild Things Are; a festival with three days of complete mayhem in a Bungelowpark in the province of Holland. From friday march six until sunday march eigt, this is a place where music and madness find each other in sweet harmony. Within the curious setting of small bungalows, a swimming pool with a ‘tropical’ touch – including aquajogging that has yogaesque moves like ‘the cameltoe’ – and average activities made special such as a pubquiz, movies and indiebingo, this is not your average festivalweekend. And while all that is lovely, Rockstone Sessions is mainly here for music and more than happy to give you our top five of must sees!

5. Full Crate x Mar (dj-set)

At Rockstone we kind of have a huge crush on Full Crate x Mar.Based in Amsterdam, Full Crate x Mar brings you the perfect combination of chill tunes and upbeat rhythm. A dj-set must be very promising!

4. Ex Hex

Loud, in your face and with a flawless timing; Ex Hex literally rocks your socks off. Their debut album Rips bring you 37 minutes of ongoing power songs in which they show no mercy for past or present relationships. Tough luck guys.

3. Oscar and the Wolf

This duo from Belgium takes you on a dreamy trip with their catchy electropop. Their last album Entity is one you can play on repeat for days without it ever getting boring. It’s no surprise they gained loads of new fans with this release, so get in touch with your melancholic side at their show.

2. Curtis Harding

With an incredible album called Soul Power, a voice of an artist that sounds like he has at least fifty years of experience and a repertoire full of catchy sing-a-longs, there’s an almost guarantee to an enjoyable show. Although recent reviews weren’t charmed by his static performance, Curtis Harding himself is truly talented.

1. Benjamin Booker

Well, young mister Benjamin Booker really knows how to combine blues and garage rock into a perfect musical mix. We really don’t know what it is with these young soulful artists claiming the stage/studios/guitars/microphones like their born making music, but we love it.
