For anyone who ever had the feeling of losing in the field of love, becoming a victim of those who know and play the game all too well, General Jabbah expresses their heartache in this acoustic version of the song ‘Smooth Girl’. In the serene and idyllic setting of the quiet dunes of Ameland, Rockstone Sessions and the band escaped the mayhem of Madnes Festival. This reggae/dub formation from the Netherlands fits perfectly in the line up and vibe of the surf- and music festival hosted every year on this small island in the North of Holland. The band brought all their gear and manpower to tell you a story we can all probably relate to: a smooth person (in this case, a woman) conquering your heart, only to crush it, move on and leave you heartbroken. It’s a cruel game, but somebody’s got to play it.
