Today G-Star Raw and Pharrell Williams have announced a partnership that will see Skateboard P himself become the co-owner of the famous jeans brand!
Having already collaborated for the past two years through Pharrell’s company Bionic Yarn, this has been a major next step. The collaboration between G-Star & Bionic Yarn is a concept in which they transformed recycled ocean plastic into denim.
Pharrell will undoubtedly have a huge say on the direction of the company creatively, from brand identity to collections to advertising. Already owning several companies, his experience, creative influence and star status will allow G-Star to push the boundaries of fashion even further.
As we are a Dutch company (like G-Star), and big Pharrell fans… we think this is a perfect match and one that we are likely to see more often in the future. Companies, brands and celebrities coming together to combine forces.
