Performing her songs ‘Follow You’ and ‘Half Awake’, local musician Yzabel joined Rockstone for a exquisitely enchanting session. It’s hard not to feel at peace while listening to her voice, but like many musicians this serenity comes from deep personal turmoil. Following the loss of her sister and her own recovery from a stroke, Yzabel decided it was time to follow her heart. After leaving the corporate world she decided to immerse herself in her music and writing. It quickly became apparent that this was the right decision as she soon found herself performing to a sold-out Paradiso, surrounded by a group of skilled musicians. Our sessions with Yzabel, Filmed shortly after her January 22 debut EP release, are just a glimpse of the talent and passion she possesses. Watch for yourself and let us know what you think!
