It is obvious that the five band members of Sir James have been listening a lot to world-famous formations like The Who, The Band and Mumford & Sons. Being inspired by these and many others, they are able to create beautiful polyphonous pop songs. After performing for four years in venues all around The Netherlands as well as in Germany, the band members decided to take some time off. Sir James went to a cottage up north and came back with their debut album called My Love Drunk. A new milestone for a band that also managed to win three awards already. We met them in the Escher Museum in The Hague, where they performed this amazing session of their song ‘Lion’.
